The deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to slightly flared rim, raised upon narrow footed base. Covered overall in a brown-black glaze with creme-white 'snake skin' motif. Falling short of the foot to reveal the olive-brown body. The current bowl has a very attractive creme glaze with white and deep-brown streaks. A thick glaze joining the body clay appeared near the base, traceable gold sparkling dust, glaze age crackles visually seen, and dull thump sound when tapped.
