The deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to a lipped rim, covered overall in a olive-black glaze falling short of the foot to reveal the pale-creme body, with 'oil spots' streaks of pale-turquoise-blue underglazed. The underside left unglazed, with grayish-brown ground and darker spot marks in the firing.
