Very fine 20th Century Chinese porcelain, potted in tall squared body, with straight shoulder tapering gracefully towards cylindrical neck, leading to slightly narrowed opening with flat rim; raised on splayed round foot base. Each panel delicately hand painted in famille rose depicted various winter landscape scenes in Qianjiang decoration on porcelain, enamels was applied directly on the white glazed porcelain surface, The decorations are pale in coloration and delicate in feeling, in sharp contrast to the richly almost gaudily painted porcelain; showing calligraphy inscription of themed poem, followed with artist iron-red signature seal. All set against pale-turquoise-green underglazed ground. Displayed upon a comforting carved hardwood stand.

From the collection of General Chen Qi 陳淇; (1912-2000), who styled himself as “Cangquan” (滄泉and “Yuquanshanren”玉泉山人), an artist, calligrapher, a prominent businessman and private antiques collector.
