Description

Rare Chinese Gilt bronze clock, set on a globular plant vase, with round side everted from flat base, banded rim with wide opening. Lotus bloom and foliate grew upward. The vase delicately decorated with enamel cloisonne works of mille fleur and hundreds butterflies against pale turquoise green ground. The clock adorned with tourmaline inlaid bezel enclosed the white roman dial.

Mark on base, incised four script -KaiShu- character, enclosed by a squared border, QianLong Reign Period.

Dimension: 30" H x 11" Dia

Condition

Traced numerous tiny-holes of corrosions on enamel filling, No missing wires found on cloisonne works. With normal anomalies in nature, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dents, and trace of declined on gilt. Normal, consider ages and wear. Over all in EXCELLENT condition.
