Gouache, watercolor, and black ink drawing attributed* to Marc Chagall (1887-1985) and executed on the half-title page of "The World of Marc Chagall," published in 1968. Signed, dated, and inscribed "Pour Frederic en bon souvenir." 13 x 9 3/8 inches. Excellent condition (hinge remnants from prior framing on reverse). Currently unframed for inspection and shipping.

Provenance: Private collection, Dallas, Texas. Purchased by the former owner, now deceased, at an international book fair in London, circa 1980.
