Description
A lovely Pre-Columbian double-chambered whistle vessel, ca. 1100 – 1450 AD. This nicely burnished avian example is 7-1/4 in high, 7-3/4 in long and features a bird sculpted as the front chamber. The wings are molded in relief and the head is nicely detailed. Good mineral deposits and clear tone on the whistle hidden inside the head. Ex Pachenko collection.
