Description
Set of six early to mid 20th century Italian majolica cups and saucers made by Fratelli Fanciullacci. The wares are painted in the Raffaellesco manner of the Italian Renaissance, and the coffee cups are adorned with intertwining snake handles.Demetrio's father, Rafaello Fanciullacci, established the Brothers Fanciullacci ceramica factory on the island of Capraia in 1862. In the late 19th century they decided to move their factory to Monetelupo, Italy near Florence.Size: Cup 2" Height; Saucer 5" Diameter.
