Description
A HISTORICAL MEXICAN DOCUMENT, 1870, A HANDWRITTEN LETTER FROM PRESIDENT BENITO JUAREZ TO GENERAL MARIANO ESCOBEDO, ink on paper, with architectural embossed mark upper left, signed verso. Height: 8" Width: 5"
Condition
There is some toning to the paper throughout, a crease to the top right corner and original creasing with two tears on the crease lines at center and top. There is a white colored stain with some texture in the top left corner, some smudges at left, a small stain at the lower right, and a darkened spot verso on the lower right of the paper, otherwise in good condition, wear commensurate with age.
