A SET OF TEN ROCOCO CHIPPENDALE STYLE CARVED MAHOGANY DINING CHAIRS, LATE 20TH CENTURY, retailed by Paramount Antiques, New York, New York, including two armchairs and eight side chairs, the scroll carved crest rails with carved flower blooms and ruffles to scrolled ends, over pierced baluster form ribbon scrolled back splats with carved tassel decoration within oak leaf and acorn carved stiles, above trapezoidal crème and green upholstered seats; the armchairs with bowed arms and carved ruffle and scrolled terminals, all on oak leaf and acorn carved knee cabriole legs ending in claw and ball feet. There are some chips and abrasive scuffs to the outermost carving mostly noted at the knees, the arms and on some backs. The chairs have occasional expected scratches, scuffs, and dents observed throughout commensurate with age and use, otherwise in very good condition.
