A RIESSNER, STELLMACHER, AND KESSEL AMPHORA GILT, JEWELED, AND ENAMELED PORCELAIN "FAIRY TALE PRINCESS" VASE, DESIGNED BY NIKOLAUS KANNHAUSER, TURN-TEPLITZ, AUSTRIA, CIRCA 1899, of tall baluster form with Secessionist style portrait of a young woman wearing a light blue/green gilt patterned cloak with lapis blue lining, atop her head a crown with radiating gilt aureola set with three enamel jewels, the base with a series of pink/mauve gilt outlined roses set with enamel jewels on hammered striated green ground, with a gilt highlighted puce ethereal woodland scene over hammered gilt band, bordered with stylized cream patterning on black ground, red decal mark, painters mark, and impressed model and manufacturer's marks. In overall good condition with firing cracks to side and two areas of foot, very minor surface rubbing and wear.
