Description
French, early 19th century. A closely matched pair of faience wall pockets or bough pots in demilune, scalloped form, each painted in shades of blue, green and ochre, the tops perforated, one with blossoms. Neither apparently marked. Approximate height 4.62", width 6.87", depth 4.12". Provenance: From the Collection of Mr. Gerald Darby, Owner of Darby Mitchell Antiques of Atlanta, Georgia.
