Handel Lamp Company (1885-1941), circa 1920s. A mushroom form hanging lantern shade decorated with exotic birds, branches and foliage on leafy textured and iridized amber glass. Signed on top fitter/collar in felt type pen "Handel 6997". The ceiling mount marked to the interior "HANDEL" with single-socket bronzed mount and floriform cap terminating in a metal tassel. Approximate height 34" (including 3" tassel), diameter of shade 10.5". Provenance: From the Estate of Liz Howell Bloodworth, Atlanta, Georgia.
