Description

English, second half 19th century. A rosewood veneered sewing or work box, the exterior decorated with mother of pearl, the hinged lid opening to reveal an interior lined with crimson silk and fitted with lift out compartment and assortment of sewing implements. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 3.75", width 9.62", depth 6.75".
