A pair of Berkey & Gay japanned side chairs. Grand Rapids, Michigan. c.1905-1929. Queen Anne style chairs with ebonized and Japanned finish. Back splat with motif of figures in a Japanese landscape with a swooping bird. Having re-upholstered finish, painting on front rail and cabriole legs. 37"h x 20 1/2"w x 19"d.
