Item Details

Description

Russian toy teapot, milk jug, sugar bowl, a slop bowl and four saucer plates, part of a dolls tea service from around 1900. Transfer printed decoration of hatching chickens, cock and hen. All parts with stamped red mark Gardner Kutznetsov. The Gardner family, of English origin, were porcelain manufacturers and sold their factory in 1892 to Kuznetsov. The factory was nationalized in 1917. Diameter of the saucers "3/ 7,7 cm, width of teapot, spout and handle included "3½/ 8,5 cm.
