Illustrated with line drawings by Milton C. Weiler. (8vo) original full green morocco, stamped in gilt on front and spine, top edge gilt, glassine jacket, original mahogany slipcase with inset hand-tied fly. One of only 10 copies thus bound. First Edition.

A fine copy of this scarce Bates deluxe edition. The author has amended the printed limitation which calls for twenty-five copies of this edition, clarifying the limitation in holograph by striking through the printed number and inserting "TEN" above. Inscribed by the author on the same leaf: This one of the ten copies is presented to Gene Auderegg - with the best wishes of the author. Joe Bates, Jr." The frontispiece is a special acetate transparency prepared only for this limited edition.
