Signed by Bates on the limitation-page and on the inside of the plates folder. Sumptuously produced edition, handsomely bound and cased, the original tied fly is an example of the "Colonel Bates" salmon fly, tied by Ted Kantner and signed by him on printed label on mat. The color plates of flies show over 300 ancient to modern patterns from the author‘s extensive collection.
