Description
VERMONT, 1864-1956 A lead and colored pencil study of a nude female by George Timothy Tobin. The beauty is sensually modeled resting on a river bed and dipping her toe in the water. Notice the subtle warmth to her skin, yellow and green foliage, and rippling water. The work was executed on a blue-green tinted artist cardboard. The drawing is signed on the verso "George T. Tobin" with his address "528 Main St, New Rochelle". The bottom right corner of the verso labeled "Study #1" with written numerals.
