Exceptional Gothic Inlaid Walnut Sewing Stand. Ebonized top with inlaid bird and filigree, incise carved drawer fronts and carved support arms at the corners; the base has 4 carved legs and a heavy turned center cluster. Has a lift top with triple gothic arch mirror and inlaid borders. The upper drawer has 6 covered compartments, pin cushion compartment, and divided compartments for thread; the lower drawer is open and both are lined with satinwood. Overall an excellent piece, missing 1 escutcheon and 3 lids are missing their finials; original finish. 33 in. high x 24 in. wide x 15.5 in. deep.
