This car was decades ahead of its time structure and technology wise. The car was the first of its kind to adopt aerodynamic principals. This project was led by Quinn Epperly, and this car was being built with the idea in mind that it would be Bill Vukovich's THIRD Indy 500 victory, and that this car would win the race with him. Unfortunately, this car was not finished in time to be raced, and that year Bill Vukovich died during the race in a fatal crash. Please read the car specs (see photos).
