Impressive John Lotton Magnum Paperweight vase with a triple layering of pink and white leaves on slender silver black stems against a frosted interior, appearing to be a blending of Verre de Soie into lavender Neodymium. Nearly impossible to tell how many layers to create this vessel but the consignor believes at least seven. Weighing in at 24 pounds, it is difficult to imagine someone being able to manipulate such a heavy piece, that may well be why John Lotton no longer makes glass at all, having retired at the age of 40. Measures 13 5/8 inches by 8 inches across the polished rim. Artist engraved with the 1995 date on the side. Awesome vessel. Excellent original condition.
