Very impressive early performing musical automaton, clown is situated on top of ladder, key hole and start-stop rod appears at rear of cloth covered base, when activated, music plays and clown performs a hand stand, followed by leaning to one side and balancing with one arm before returning to start position, music sound is strong and clean. 30" h while in a handstand.

Condition

Base cloth worn, some ladder posts reattached and touched up, clown appears to be redressed with some touch ups to preserve him.
