This lot comprises a late 19th Century U.S. military canteen, and an antique all copper drinking flask.

The canteen measures approx. 8" in diameter, and is a standard issue style U.S. Army canteen from the post-Civil War era. Includes shoulder strap, stopper, and covering marked, "U.S."

The small, round copper drinking flask is of a unique design, with twist-locking copper stopper. Measures approx. 5" in diameter.

This lot is from the estate of a very well-known and well-respected lifetime Civil War collector in Upstate New York.
