Description
SANDWICH LATE BLOWN AND ENGRAVED BOYD VASE FINGER BOWL, colorless, in two sections, the bowl with central hole to accept the trumpet vase, raised on a hollow stem and thick foot with polished pontil mark, bowl engraved with an "H" within a foliate wreath. Descended in the family of master machinist and mold designer Hiram Dillaway, color expert James Danforth Lloyd, and decorator William Austin Foster. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1870-1887. 8 3/8" HOA, 4 3/4" D rim bowl, 3 1/8" D foot.
Undamaged.
