PRESSED SANDWICH PAIR OF TULIP VASES, very deep amethyst, each deep octagonal bowl with a flared rim and panels that continue to the lower peg, raised on a flared, octagonal base, wafer construction. Each factory polished under base to level. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1845-1865. 10 1/8" H, 5 1/4" D rim, 4 3/4" DOA base.
Excellent condition, one with shallow chip to one lower base point, other with three minor flakes to lower edge of base.
