RUDOLF FRIML
(1879-1972) Czech-born composer of operettas, musicals, songs and piano pieces, best known for "Rose-Marie" and "The Vagabond King". Lot of two signed items, includes: printed D.S., 4pp. legal folio, Hollywood, Sep. 2, 1953, a "Uniform Popular Songwriters Contract", selling the rights of "Never Say Goodbye", a song with music composed by Friml, with words by lyricist DAILEY PASKMAN. Friml signs in blue ink on the final page, with Paskman adding his signature above. Folds, minor chipping at the left edge, else very good. WITH: Good association S.P., 8" x 10"b/w, a group view of Friml, his wife KAY WONG FRIML, DAILEY PASKMAN, his wife, and Nebraska senator ROMAN HRUSKA (1904-1999) in front of the U.S. Capitol Building. Friml and Kay Wong sign beneath their images in blue ink, while Paskman signs in black and Hruska signs in white, adding "U.S. Sen. Nebr." Slight creasing, else very good. Two pieces.
