2 - Horses in the Making, 155pp, Lady Wentworth, George Allen & Unwin Ltd., 1951. An in depth look at the care, breeding, breaking and training of thoroughbred horses with numerous illustrations. Slight foxing in front matter, end papers and edges. Spine slightly faded. silver gilt on cover and spine. Overall nice condition.
3 - Jorrock's Jaunts and Jollities, 180pp, R.S. Surtee, Edward Arnold & Company, London, 1924. "The Hunting, Shooting, Racing, Driving, Sailing, Eating, Eccentric, and Extravagant Exploits on that Renowned Sporting Citizen Mr. John Jorrocks." 15 beautiful color illustrations by Henry Aiken. Foxing in front matter, text body, end papers, and on uncut edges. Cover soiled and faded on spine. Gilt on spine and cover. Slight tear at top of spine.
