Craig‘s Wife is inscribed on the front free endpaper, “To Josephine [heart-with-arrow] Williams, ‘Suffice it that mine eyes are deeper now‘ Affectionately George Kelly N.Y. Jan. 1926“; Williams was Mrs. Harold in the New York production. Additionally signed and inscribed by the producer and dedicatee Rosalie Stewart on the dedication page, and signed by the rest of the cast on the dramatis personae page. Philip Goes Forth is signed and inscribed by Kelly to Dorothy Stickney, who played Miss Krail in the play and is also signed by the cast on the dramatis personae page.
Condition
Jackets quite worn with some loss, gentle toning, rare foxing and finger soiling; very good volumes, 2 of which in fair jackets.
