Description
French Renaissance Style Carved Oak Hall Tree, 19th c., the rectangular shelf over a central Gothic shaped mirror flanked by four iron S-hooks and carved panels, on a stepped base centered by an iron drip tray, H.- 73 in., W.- 56 in., D.- 12 in.
Condition
Condition consistent with age and use. Approximate 3 by 1 inch hole in drip pan. ¼ inch vertical gap in middle of both bottom panels. Hairline vertical crack across upper right panel. Two vertical cracks in upper left panel with dust from wood beetle exposure below. Approximate 8 inch vertical scratch in back of mirror. Age spots intermittently throughout. Lacking staining along 5 thin edges around panels. Coat hooks loose. A nice piece.
