JAPAN: An unusual 8vo page removed from an autograph album individually signed by various prominent members of the Japanese business and political community, comprising Shinkichi Tamura (member of Japan's House of Representatives and House of Peers), Mizuno Rentaro (Japanese Minister of Home Affairs, 1918, 1922-1923, 1924), Hosokawa Moritatsu (Japanese Marquis and Art Collector, the 24th-generation head of the Hosokawa family), Aiske Kabayama (Japanese Count, member of Japanese House of Peers) and Naruse Tatsu. All have signed in both Japanese and English in bold black fountain pen inks. VG
Provenance: The present page was removed from one of a number of autograph albums containing signatures acquired by Mr. W. L. White, Restaurant Manager of the Connaught in London's Mayfair.
