FORT EBEN-EMAEL BATTLE OF: Walter Koch (1910-1943) German Oberstleutnant of World War II, Knight's Cross winner for his actions at the Battle of Fort Eben-Emael in May 1940. Rare vintage signed colour 4 x 6 postcard, being a reproduction of a drawing by artist Wolfgang Willrich, the image depicting Koch in a head and shoulders pose wearing his uniform and helmet. Signed ('Koch') with his surname only in blue indelible pencil to the image. Autographs of Koch are rare in any form as a result of his untimely death at the age of 33 in mysterious circumstances, shortly after having openly criticised Adolf Hitler and denounced the Fuhrer's infamous Commando Order; Egon Delica (1915-1991) German Leutnant of World War II, Knight's Cross winner for his actions during the Battle of Fort Eben-Emael in May 1940.
