LENOX CHINA PROTOTYPE ARTICLES, LOT OF FOUR, comprising one 6 1/2" H gilt model of the funerary mask of King Tutankhamun as a souvenir the Metropolitan Museum of Art exhibition with accompanying letter from 1979 informing Lenox employees of their opportunity to purchase one of the limited edition funerary masks; one 6 3/4" H vase with artificial plant having "SOUVENIR / of / SOUFRIERE CRATER / ST. VINCENT, B.W.I / 11:15 A.M. / JAN. 31. 1961."; one 13 1/8" modern sculptural mold/model of a nude woman leaning against a rock; and one 14 1/4" H glove mold with "1942" on base. Soufriere Crater souvenir marked with gilt "L" within a wreath, "LENOX", and "MADE IN U.S.A.", otherwise unmarked. Winslow Anderson designed for Lenox Ceramic Art Company, Trenton, New Jersey. 20th century.
