BLENKO GLASS - WINSLOW ANDERSON CREAM BOWL AND PITCHER, cobalt blue, each signed, "W. ANDERSON/BLENKO". Made for the Washington Cathedral. 1946-1952. 2 1/2" and 3" H.

Provenance: Winslow Anderson estate sold to benefit the Huntington Museum of Art.
Catalogue Note: Winslow Anderson was the first design director at Blenko, he held this position from 1946 - 1952 before moving on as a design director for Lenox China in 1953. According to the notes of the Huntington Museum, these two pieces are unique pieces created specifically for the Washington Cathedral.
