PROTOTYPE BLENKO GLASS - WINSLOW ANDERSON CHURCH DECANTER, colorless, rough pontil mark, original stopper, signed, "'RABBIT' WINDSOR/BLOWER/'CURLY' SOWARDS/FINISHER" also signed, "W. ANDERSON" to the side of the decanter. Second quarter 20th century. 15" HOA.

Provenance: Winslow Anderson estate sold to benefit the Huntington Museum of Art.
Exhibited: Huntington Museum of Art, 8/22/99-1/9/2000.
Catalogue Note: Winslow Anderson was the first design director at Blenko, he held this position from 1946 - 1952 before moving on as a design director for Lenox China in 1953.
