BLENKO NO. 624 GLASS ASHTRAYS, LOT OF FOUR, comprising an amber, green, pink and teal example, each piece signed, "BLENKO". Third quarter 20th century. 2" to 2 1/4" H, 9" D rims.
Amber example with a single moderate pattern chip, remainder undamaged.
Literature: Parallels Piña - Blenko Glass: 1962-1971 Catalogs, p. 25, no. 624.
Provenance: Winslow Anderson estate sold to benefit the Huntington Museum of Art.
Catalogue Note: Winslow Anderson was the first design director at Blenko, he held this position from 1946 - 1952 before moving on as a design director for Lenox China in 1953.
