ENGLISH STERLING SILVER AND CUT GLASS EPERGNE, oval center bowl fitted in sterling silver stand with four paw feet, and figural griffon head centered within frame, with four arms for matching pattern cut glass bowls; London hallmarks, George III duty mark, 1801 date mark. Lacking two smaller bowls. Total silver weight: 53.95 ozt. Late 18th/early 19th century. 11 3/8" HOA, center bowl 10 3/8" x 8" OA.
Silver excellent overall, with some minor repairs to breaks, center bowl with only a single chip to rim, small bowls with a few scattered flakes or chips to rim.
