Description
Robert Pringle & Sons (English / Birmingham), 1902, Victorian sterling silver and cranberry glass epergne, consisting of five cut glass oval dishes with shaped rims, nestled in oval rings having scrolled arms, and rising on acanthus leaf, mask, and bird form legs with webbed feet, frame marks -- largest oval with maker's mark, standard and date mark, four ovals marked with date and standard mark, lower portion of body not marked but tested as sterling. Provenance: From the Estate of Jack R. Kelly JR. Approx. h.8.75", w. 20", d.17.5", total weight of frame 30.17 ozt.
Condition
Two slightly loose arms, faint scuffing and scratches commensurate with polishing and light use, small bends to a few feet, few faint scratches to glass, no apparent chips or cracks, and structurally stable
