ENGLISH WILLIAM COMYNS STERLING SILVER DRESSING/TABLE MIRROR, large impressive size with arched top and swayed base, beveled mirror, heavy ornamentation mounted to a wooden backing, cartouches of 15 various romantic figures and pastoral scenes intertwined with scrolling, top cartouche unpatterned and monogrammed, backing with blue velvet lining and an easel for displaying along with hanger for wall mount. Bottom right corner with hallmarks for the maker, London and a 1901 date. 1901. 28 x 22 3/4".
Excellent condition, silver and mirror undamaged, wear and losses to velvet covering at edges and deterioration to backing, easel with some wood imperfections.
