A NEAR FINE copy, still with its original tissue guard, all plates in excellent condition, very crisp in the original salmon-colored publisher's cloth blocked in gilt on both spine and front cover, the latter featuring a pair of couples engaged in "Blind Man's Bluff." There is a touch of shelfwear to both top and tail of the spine and the delicately colored spine also shows a little age-toning, there's a prior owner's signature on the ffep dated 1858, but this is a superb copy of a rare book in its true first appearance, an utterly charming collection of nearly two hundred party games of the era.
