This is among one of the rarest Faberge pieces we have ever seen. The piece has amazing attention to detail. This is thought to be a one of a kind piece, as there were not many animal figurines that were made of a solid gemstone. Most figurines were made of nephrite, obsidian, jade and other forms of hard stones. This piece has very fine attention to detail, and each portion of the piece is embelished with life like incised details. The natural inclusion in the gemstone were used to delicately, and intricately accent this amazing piece. You can see almost every hair of the boar in clear, and distinct detail, this truly is an amazing piece. Measures: 2" x 1.5".
