The rectangular plaque is decorated with three boys at play, with one lighting a firecracker while the other two cover their ears, all in a garden setting. The scene is surrounded by a geometric border with floral cartouches. The plaque is set into a burlwood frame and a carved hongmu stand, 19th century.
Condition: the plaque with cracks restored; cracks to the wood.
