1856 Presidential Campaign, James Buchanan & John C. Breckinridge, Jugate Portrait Images “Grand National Democratic Banner”, measuring 9.5” x 13.5” (by sight), housed in it’s original wooden frame to 12.5” x 16.5”, the print Hand-Colored in yellow, rose and blue. It displays a large central image with the Jugate Bust Portraits of the Democratic Candidates for President and Vice President. Above is an American Eagle perched on a shield with the word “UNION” within. Below is the text, “One Country_One Constitution_One Destiny”. American Flags and drapery border the upper half.
