Description
British artist Elmer Keene (19th/20th Century) produced this charmingly detailed bucolic scene. It is signed by the artist in the lower margin, and also in the plate. Titled At The Close Of A Summer's Day, the scene is a dreamy depiction of rural life.
The print is newly matted with non-acidic materials, and installed with the original glass in the original decorated gold wood frame which measures 25 1/2" x 31 1/2" .
The print has minor discoloration from the old mat, and the frame has a few minor imperfections.
