Victoria Fantin-Latour nee Dubourg (French, 1840-1926) was born in Paris. She started her career by copying the works of the old masters in the Louvre. It was here that she met the renowned flower painter, Henri Fantin-Latour (1836-1904). They were married in 1876. She painted flower pieces in oils and watercolour.
She exhibited at the Salons of Paris, Lyon and Pau.
Her portrait, painted by Edgar Degas (1834-1917), can be seen at the Toledo Museum of Art, Ohio. Her works can be seen at the Louvre, Paris and the museums of Reims and Pau. She compiled a catalogue of her husband's work.
