Dempster Mill Mfg. Bobtail Horse Windmill Weight

Item Details

Description

Used as counter balances for weights on windmills, windmill weights came in various forms. The large and stately bobtail horse was made by Dempster Mill Mfg. Co., is made of cast iron, and has a 58C embossed on one side. The weight is 16 1/2 inches tall and 17 inches wide. There is detail cast into the cast iron which makes this a very displayable figure.
