Description
Lorna Blaine Halper, American, 1924-2012, Bronze Bust (Spiral Man), signed, numbered 5/9, patinated in two tones, dated 1992, Argos Art Foundry incised.
NOTE: The artist studied under Josef Albers, Fannie Hillsmith, Robert Motherwell, Max Dehn, and Ilya Bolotowsky at the Black Mountain College in the late 40's and was a classmate of Ruth Asawa; exhibited at the Bodley II and Cisneros galleries in New York, her works are in the permanent collection of the Asheville Art Museum.
