A PAIR OF SEVRES-STYLE BLEU CELESTE GROUND COVERED BRULE PARFUMS WITH TRANSFER PRINTED AND GILT DECORATION, FRANCE, LATE 19TH CENTURY, of soft paste porcelain consisting of a covered bowl on socle base with pierced border to the lid and reticulated band to the top of the bowl, on attached canted corner pedestal, with reserved transfer printed decoration of trophies, floral bouquets, and a music playing couple, pseudo Sevres mark to the bottom. Height: 11 1/8" Diameter: 5 7/8"

Condition

In overall poor to fair condition, one example with old crack to the cover, losses and rubbing to gilt and transfer printed decoration, the other with old crack and areas of restoration to base, significant cracking to the cover with losses, and rubbing to gilt and transfer printed decoration.
