A GROUP OF FOUR AMERICAN GILT BRASS AND CAST IRON RETICULATED TRIVETS, 19TH AND 20TH CENTURIES, comprising one with a stylized rope twist "c" scrolls handle, issuing a circular laurel leaf wreath centering a spread winged eagle standing on a heart shaped pendant, raised on short feet, length: 8 1/2"; one with a woven style detailed handle pierced for suspension and issuing a circular panel trimmed in triangular banding, centering stylized ropetwist rings enclosing a floret, raised on short feet, length: 8 5/8"; a stylized fan form trivet with a heart and woven style detailed handle pierced for suspension, issuing a vertical leafy branch flanked by tasseled ropes and scrolling feather sides, raised on short feet, length: 8 1/4"; a cast iron clothes iron trivet, of triangular form and molded, "THE GRISWOLD MFG.CO. / ERIE PA.," over incised, "CLASSIC," centering a star and stylized fan form detail, raised on short feet, length: 6".
