TUPAC SHAKUR SCREEN-WORN SHIRT FROM "2 OF AMERICAZ MOST WANTED", WITH SNOOP DOGG
An instantly iconic piece of Tupac memorabilia, the Dolce & Gabbana shirt worn by the artist in a music video he filmed with fellow rap artist Snoop Dogg in 1996. The white woven silk long-sleeved button-down shirt by Dolce & Gabbana has brown trim at the collar, and is closed with six white mother-of-pearl buttons. Two cloth "D&G" tags are present at the collar, both inside and out. A Dolce & Gabba authenticity tag bearing their well-worn "Hologriffe" stamp label is also present inside the collar. The shirt was worn by Shakur in the music video for his single "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted" from the album "All Eyez on Me" and was recorded as a collaboration with Death Row Records label-mate Snoop Dogg. The shirt can be seen at the 5:13 mark of the video, as Shakur exits a car following his and Snoop Dogg's acquittal and departure from court. The garment shows minor signs of wear, else very good. Consigned by an intimate friend and relative of Tupac Shakur who was also personally mentored by the great rapper. The consignor remains very active in the music and film industry. His signed and notarized letter of provenance accompanies this item.
