Bronze plaque commemorating the visit of Emperor Wilhelm II to Palestine in 1898.
Obverse: portrait of the emperor surmounting the legend "Wilhelm II Deutscher Kaiser". At the top of the plaque is a relief of a Catholic church. Beneath it is the date in Roman numerals - XXX. X. MDCCCIIC (30 October 1898). Reverse: relief of the Church of the Redeemer, perched on a tree, and the legend "Erloeser-kirche zu Ierusalem".
